Penza, 26 June 2014. PenzaNews. The head of Russian Aviation Alexander Neradko supported the initiative of governor Vasily Bochkarev to construct an international airport terminal in Penza. This was announced by the head of the federal department during a working meeting with the head of the region on Thursday, June 26.

According to Alexander Neradko, international checkpoint will effectively influence the development of air services between the Penza region and foreign countries.

“Your initiative will certainly influence the development of international communication. We will support this proposal,” Alexander Neradko said.

During the talks, Vasily Bochkarev presented several projects of international terminal to the head of Russian Aviation and informed him about the prospects of development of the airport.

“Architects have prepared several projects for the construction of the international terminal. Of course, they need to be discussed. To date, we have an investor who is willing to begin construction of the international checkpoint. The company can also construct buildings for maintenance and repair of aircrafts,” the press service of the regional government quoted Vasily Bochkarev.

The head of the region also noted that in Penza near the airport, in the case of construction of the international terminal, a hotel complex will be built, according to international standards.
