Penza region to participate in implementation of investment project of “Damate”

Penza, 27 June 2014. PenzaNews. Group of companies “Damate” and the government of the Penza region signed an agreement on cooperation in the development of agriculture in the region.

As the press service of the Russian agricultural holding told news agency “PenzaNews,” under this agreement, the company plans to invest another 7,8 billion rubles in its complex for the production of turkey and increase its capacity by 4 times.

Agreement on state support for the second phase of the investment project for the production of turkey signed between the regional government and LLC “PenzaMolInvest” (part of the group of companies “Damate”) and approved by the Legislative Assembly of the Penza region on Friday, June 27.

Earlier “Damate” announced its intention to invest about 12 billion rubles in the development of production of turkey meat in the Penza region in 2012-2016. Under the plan, the first stage of the project was implemented. By the end of 2013, complex for processing turkey was built and put into operation with capacity of 15 thousand tons of meat per year, including hatchery with 2 million eggs a year, two rearing sites, four feeding areas and poultry processing plant that does not have analogues in the country and one of the best in Europe in terms of technical equipment.

Complex for the production of turkey in Nizhnelomovsky area has become one of the most stable and comfortable jobs in the region. In connection with the expansion of the project the number of employees at the complex will be increased by 5 times.

In addition to high wages, “Damate” offers its employees full benefit package, subsidized meals and corporate shuttle, it regularly conducts training and pays great attention to staff development.

The company plans to construct housing for employees.

We are grateful to the government of the Penza region for their support in the implementation of our investment project. The regional government has committed to lay gas and build roads to our complex. In turn, we will invest 7,8 billion rubles by 2016, on top of 4 billion rubles that we have already invested in our complex for growing and processing turkey in the Penza region. These funds will be used to increase capacity of the complex up to 60 tons of turkey meat per year. We will increase the number of jobs to 1200. Work on the complex will be highly paid. The average salary is 24 thousand rubles with annual indexation,” CEO of “Damate” Rashid Hayrov commented.
