Penza, 3 July 2014. PenzaNews. Farmers of the Penza region produced goods to the amount of over 50,447 million rubles in 2013, which is 7,6% higher than a year earlier.

According to the regional Ministry of Forestry, Hunting and Nature, compared to the results of 2012, in all categories of farming they received 72,2% of grain more, 11,8% of sunflower, 6,7% of vegetables from open ground and greenhouse.

In 2013, the volume of state support of agriculture in the region, taking into account the budgets of all levels amounted to more than 2,900 million rubles. The amount of subsidies from the budget of the Penza region amounted to over 800 million rubles.

According to the results of the past year, 255 (peasant) farms were created in the Penza region. Grants for the creation and development of family livestock farms were received by 41 (peasant) farms.
