“Currently, camelina price is 10 rubles per kilogram. This is real money. Harvesting begins 10-15 days earlier than in the past century. That is why there is demand right away. The main thing is to have specialists on the spot,” the head of the region said during his working trip to Kamensky area on Thursday, July 10.

Vasily Bochkarev also noted the export component of the camelina project.

“The Turks are happy to buy camelina grain and oil. If we will manage to develop camelina processing here in the region, it will bring additional revenue,” he stressed.
