“Russian pellet” willing to invest one billion rubles in factory construction in Penza

Penza, 31 July 2014. PenzaNews. Group of companies “Russian pellet” is ready to invest about one bln rubles in the construction of the plant in the Penza region, said the company’s CEO Sergei Polishchuk on a meeting with governor Vasily Bochkarev that took place on Thursday, July 31.

According to him, the plant will begin operations in 2015.
“The project aims to implement existing regional capabilities of substituting traditional energy sources by environmentally clean and renewable ones. We plan to produce pellets made from refuse and low-grade wood as an alternative energy source,” Sergei Polishchuk explained.
He added that the project will consist of two stages.
“The first stage involves the launch of the plant and reaching production levels of 40 thousand tons per year. The second stage involves increasing efficiency up to 80 thousand tons per year or above,” the press service of the regional government quoted the general director of “Russian pellet.”
