Aerofuels Group ready to modernize Penza Airport

Penza, 28 August 2014. PenzaNews. Aerofuels Group is ready to start the modernization of Penza Airport which will help to establish international communication in the future, said the general director of the company Vladimir Spiridonov during the meeting with Penza region governor Vasily Bochkarev held in the regional government hall on Thursday, August 28.

“The construction will take about 2.5 years, and we are ready to start in September. Investment in the project will amount to approximately 500 million rubles. Conditions that we offer will allow Penza residents flying easier and cheaper now,” Vladimir Spiridonov said.

He also noted that the project includes the construction of a refueling complex.

“This will reduce the price of fuel, and ticket prices as well,” general director of LLC Aerofuels Group said.

In return, governor Vasily Bochkarev supported the Moscow company’s initiative.

“Today the airport building is not modern enough. Its modernization is necessary for development of the region,” the head of the region stressed.

He also suggested sign the agreement there and then.

Aerofuels Group is one of the largest airport refueling complex operators in Russia which owns a network of 19 complexes, organizes and provides airplane refueling services in 29 airports of the country, from Pskov to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy.

Outside Russia, Aerofuels Group provides airplane refueling services in more than 1 000 airports all over the world.

Since 1999, the group has been actively building and modernizing its refueling stations according to the modern requirements set by Russian and worldwide airline companies, investing over 4.5 billion rubles in this process in Russia.
