Over 450,000 sq. m of housing put into service in Penza

Penza, 13 October 2014. PenzaNews. Over 456,000 sq. m of housing has been built in the Penza region during January–September 2014.

As the press service of the regional Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities told PenzaNews agency, this is 110.2% of the level reached during the same months last year, and 50.6% of the predicted level.
“217,400 sq. m of individual housing has been built – 88.9% of the same period last year; as for apartment buildings – 239,500 sq. m, or 141.1% of the last year’s levels,” the press service representatives said.
The ministry spokesperson noted that individual housing comprised 47.6% of the newly-built residential space.
“233,100 sq. m, or 51% of the buildings made available in the first nine months of 2014, are designed for economy class,” the ministry concluded.
