Over 48 mln rubles spent on Penza region logistics development

Penza, 23 October 2014. PenzaNews. Over 48 mln rubles were allocated for creating logistics centers for potato, produce and other agricultural industries in the Penza region in 2014, said Dmitry Toropov, director of agricultural development and social policy department of the Ministry of Agriculture, during the session of the Civic Chamber of Russia.
In his report, titled “Rating the effectiveness of government SME, infrastructure unites and development institution support program,” the high-ranking official also listed several issues that hinder legal regulation of small agricultural enterprises, and the ways to resolve them.
As the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture told PenzaNews agency, 3.45 mln of the sum allocated for logistics development was provided from federal budget, and regional budget supplied 45 mln rubles.
