Penza farmers to study robotic dairy farms in Kaluga region

Penza, 15 December 2014. PenzaNews. The delegation of the Penza region led by Vyacheslav Orel, deputy chairman of the regional government, will visit the village farms of the Kaluga region on Tuesday, December 16.

As the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture told PenzaNews agency, the main purpose of the visit is to study the experience of dairy cattle breeding development, such as the low-cost milk production technology that uses robots for cow milking.

“Agricultural producers will visit three robotic dairy farms,” the department added.

The press service specified that the delegation will include representatives of the leasing company and firms engaged in the supply of robots in the Penza region.
