“The capital goods price index reached 115.4 points in the Penza region, 115.7 in the Volga Federal District, and 115.4 in the Russian Federation,” reported the regional Minister of Agriculture Andrei Burlakov.
According to him, on January 19, 2015, the Penza region had minimal average retail prices in the region on sugar, bread, first and second grade wheat goods, white rice, vermicelli pasta, potatoes and onions.
“The region holds no maximums in any goods included in the rating, and remains in the middle in any other respects,” he said.
Andrei Burlakov stressed that large-scale retail store chains are selling 27 brands of most important food items included in the degree of the Russian government, dated July 15 2010, with a trade markup of 5%. Moreover, the region hosts 76 trade fairs of different shapes and sizes.
“We are constantly monitoring the retail prices,” the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture quotes Andrei Burlakov.
