“Earlier, FAS has received a request from DAMATE group to purchase over 69% of shares in the Penzensky Dairy Production Factory, which has been satisfied with an order to not obstruct dairy market competition among companies. According to the order, DAMATE group was required to inform Penza FAS on any decision to change factory prices of whole milk products of the Penzensky Dairy Production Factory 15 days in advance with financial reasoning behind the changes,” press secretary of the Penza region Federal Antimonopoly Service Marin Goryacheva informed PenzaNews agency.

However, she clarified, the Penzensky Dairy Production factory has raised factory prices on whole milk products by over 20% since January 14, 2015, according to information provided by the regional Ministry of Agriculture.

“At the same time, the FAS had received no reports from DAMATE group, which is an obstruction to controlling functions of the government body – in particular, its dairy market price monitoring in the Penza region,” added the speaker.
