According to him, these levels grew by 5% compared to 2013.
“Every other one constitutes a grave or a gravest offense, and every fifth one deals with embezzlement of exceptionally large sums,” he noted in his report on the ministry performance in 2014 to the Penza region Legislative Assembly on Friday, February 20.
The police averted 23% more economic crimes and 82% more tax related crimes than a year before, Yuri Ruzlyaev added.
“All budgets regained around 250 million rubles,” said the head of the regional MIA.
Yuri Ruzlyaev also drew attention to the fact that the internal security forces were tasked to ensure smooth operation of businesses and protecting them from criminal rackets due to the difficult economic situation.
“In this regard, we are actively cooperating with civil organizations of the Penza region, including the entrepreneurial association,” the colonel explained.
He promised that the police will work even harder in this direction to create conditions for the development of honest and open business in the Penza region.
