Over 800 million rubles to be invested in Penza region trout production

Penza, 7 March 2015. PenzaNews. Over 800 million rubles may potentially be invested in the “Surskaya Ryba” investment project in the Penza region, the press service of JSC “Penza Region Development Corporation” told PenzaNews agency.

The project includes plans for a trout growing facility for up to 500 tons of fish and 30 tons of caviar a year, as well as a closed-cycle complex with a closed water circuit for fish seed production of up to 2 million units a year.

A special feature of the project is a processing line with a planned capacity of 1,000 tons a year and storage for 300 tons of product.

The project will create 68 new jobs for the regional citizens.

The meeting on “Surskaya Ryba” project implementation was held on Friday, March 6, led by Vladimir Volkov, acting first deputy chairman of the regional government, Minister of Investment Development of the Foreign Trade of the Penza region.

The talks were dedicated to determining the location of the project facilities according to requests of the initiating company, LLC “Profit.” One of the named possibilities was an industrial park “Otvel” in the village of Kizhevatovo in the Bessonovo area, currently under construction.

The regional government will provide maximal assistance to provide the best landplot and begin construction in the upcoming year, Vladimir Volkov assured the project initiators.

Earlier, the governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev on the one side, and Vasily Kondrikov and Vitaly Abramov, heads of LLC “Profit,” on the other side, discussed the investment project in details.

The “Surskaya Ryba” enterprise plains to export its product to the countries of the Middle East.
