Penza, 11 March 2015. PenzaNews. The individual deposit portfolio for Sberbank Volga has surpassed 600 billion rubles in March 2015.

From the beginning of the current year, the Volga bank branch opened over 500,000 new deposits and extended more than 400,000 old savings accounts.

“The first months of 2015 have shown the demand for the Sberbank deposits in the Volga Federal District remains stable and high. During the two months, the deposit portfolio grew by over 700 million rubles. This growth, first of all, was caused by increased interest rates in late December 2014,” noted Vasily Kozlov, deputy chairman of Volga Sberbank.

According to Mikhail Kisel, managing director of the Penza office of Sberbank, as many as 55,000 new deposits were made during January and February 2015.

“Today, we are ready to offer new deposit plans that will help not only preserve but increase your savings,” he stressed.

In his turn, the press service of Sberbank noted that saving certificates offer the maximum interest rates for individuals at 13.25%.
