Penza, 3 June 2015. PenzaNews. The list of measures to improve the budget of the city as confirmed by the city administration decree No. 782, dated June 1 2015, includes the decision to cancel the five-percent indexation of salaries of city officials working for the local government bodies.

According to the text of the decree available to PenzaNews agency, the city budget will save 18 million 805 thousand rubles this year through this decision.

Another line of economy, 34 million 110 thousand rubles, will be achieved through cuts of salary funds for the local government bodies.

Among other city budget economy measures in the plan are the decrease of expenses for local official company management, and lowered subsidies for municipal budget and standalone organizations for financial provision of municipal missions for works and services, for a total of 55 million 495 thousand rubles.

Moreover, the cuts of subsidies for municipal budget and standalone organizations for other needs will allow for an additional saving point of 119 million 62 thousand rubles for the city treasury.

Overall, the Penza budget will be optimized by 323 million 904 thousand rubles in 2015 during its formation and 80 million 938 thousand rubles later.
