Penza region trade volume with China more than tripled over last 6 years

Penza, 18 June 2015. PenzaNews. The trade volume between the Penza region and the Chinese provinces more than tripled over the years of 2008-2014.
The trade volume reached $37.9 million a year ago, compared to $13.2 million in 2008, the press service of the Penza Region Development Corporation informed PenzaNews agency.
“Over the years, the Penza region has been developing its mutual cooperation with the PRC, and the trade volume has been growing year to year, excluding the crisis events of 2014. The import from China is as big as 16% of the overall volume,” the organization noted.
The Development Corporation representatives added that over 20 regional enterprises have trade and economic ties with China, while the goods exchange process with the Asian giant largely remained the same over the aforementioned period.
