The parties discussed the issues of agricultural industry development potential, bank loan provision, and implementation of investment and import replacement projects in the region.
Ivan Belozertsev thanked Sergei Larin for the federal support of the agricultural development initiatives.
“I see the wish to work in the fields in the eyes of the people in the Penza region villages. Thanks to the federal and, through co-funding plans, regional budget support, we help them develop agricultural companies, create new farms and new jobs. This is very important for us, and we closely watch every single ruble to be used properly,” stressed the head of the region.
The acting head of the Russian Ministry of Culture shared his impressions after the visits to the locations of DAMATE group and Rusmolco: a dairy cattle farm for 4,600 cows, and the turkey chick and feeding farms in the Nizhny Lomov area, both operational and not.
Sergei Levin confirmed the plans of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture to continue subsidizing the programs in the agricultural sector, including those developed in the Penza region.
“It is very important for us to see that the support from the country’s budget helps create the state-of-the-art agricultural enterprises with hi-tech equipment. I’ve witnessed very impressive turkey meat production capabilities in the Penza region, a heading dairy production complex, the world-class facilities. We will be supporting such regions, no doubt,” he said.
The press service of the Penza region government informed PenzaNews agency that Sergei Levin accompanied by Ivan Belozertsev also visited Molkom where he praised the upgrade process over the last four years and sampled the products.
