Thirty agricultural goods producers to represent Penza region on “Volga Field Day”

Penza, 6 July 2015. PenzaNews. A delegation of 30 producers of agricultural goods from the Penza region will take part in the agricultural forum “Volga Field Day 2015” that will take place in the Nizhny Novgorod region on July 7-8.
They will demonstrate their achievements in crop and cattle farming, the press service of the Penza region Ministry of Agriculture informed PenzaNews agency.
“These include the vegetable group: tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplants, garlic, squashes, greenery, as well as potatoes, canned goods and mushrooms. Moreover, the visitors of the Penza region exhibition area will see quail eggs, smoked eggs, rabbit meat, poultry and Angus breed beef. There will be a wide choice of turkey meet, fish, dairy products, meat convenience foods, smoked products, cheeses, honey, salad oil, flax oil and camelina oil, beverages, dietary food supplements and roses,” they noted.
The representatives of the region will show the guests how to prepare meals from turkey meat and Angus breed beef steaks, the Agricultural Ministry added.
“‘Penzmash,’ ‘Agromekhanika,’ ‘Kuznetsky Zavod Tekstilnovo Mashinostroyeniya’ and ‘Penzagroremmash’ will show agricultural machines. The guests and participants of the forum will also see an animal exposition,” the press service clarified.
The Penza region delegation at the agricultural forum “Volga Field Day 2015” is expected to feature the acting governor Ivan Belozertsev as its leader.
