Delegation led by Ivan Belozertsev beings work on “Volga Field Day” forum
Penza, 7 July 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza region delegation led by the acting governor Ivan Belozertsev is currently on a visit in the Nizhny Novgorod region where an interregional agricultural exhibition “Volga Field Day” opens exactly at noon.
“During the official events, the head of the region intends to hold talks with authorities, businesses and experts, and sign several cooperation agreements. Moreover, his agenda includes a business program and an inspection of modern equipment,” the press service of the Penza region government informed PenzaNews agency.
The Presidential envoy in the Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich and the Russian Minister of Agriculture Alexander Tkachev plan to visit the exhibition.
The will inspect the display zones of the regions and hold an expert board meeting on developing the agricultural complex of the part of the country. Among the issues they plan to discuss are the state support of crop farming industries and loan issues.
The first regional forum “Volga Field Day” was held in 2010 in the Penza region.
The 2015 forum is the sixth in its history. It brought together the representatives of the largest agricultural enterprises from all over the Volga Federal District.
The event aims to increase the investment attractiveness of the agricultural industry, modernize the agrarian polcy, and spread the innovative practices.
