Penza, 30 September 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza region has produced over 152,000 tons of cattle and poultry meat over the first eight months of 2015, which is 12.3% more year-to-year, the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture informed PenzaNews agency.

“The Penza region plans to reach the levels of 250,000 tons by the end of 2015,” they added.

The press service also noted that milk production volumes reached 238,500 tons, or 3.3% more than a year ago.

“The average milk yield per cow over the reported period is 3.2 tons,” the Ministry of Agriculture reported.
