Penza region wins grand prize at “Golden Autumn” trade show

Penza, 11 October 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza region government has won the grand prize of the 17th agricultural trade show “Golden Autumn” for contributing to development of the event that took place on October 8-11 in Moscow at “Krokus Expo” center.

The award was followed up with a diploma signed by the Russian Minister of Agriculture Alexander Tkachev.
During the exhibition, the Penza region demonstrated the large-scale local agrarian projects, such as its turkey meat production and processing facility, a milk and dairy goods complex with its own breeding stock, and a grain elevator and processing complex.
Moreover, visitors of the trade show learned about the big potato and vegetables production project by “Bashmakovsky Khleb,” as well as the regional hi-tech agricultural cluster that focuses on the main fields of the trade.
The regional section of the trade show also featured goods made of turkey meat, as well as Aberdeen beef, poultry, and rabbit meat; meat products; fish, smoked goods, sausages and other products, says the press service of the Penza region government.
