Ivan Filyurin to share experience during Penza agricultural forum

Penza, 28 October 2015. PenzaNews. Ivan Filyurin, former Minister of Agriculture in the Penza region, chairman of agricultural cooperative “Petrovsky,” will be a guest expert at the first agricultural forum hosted by the Penza State Agricultural Academy on October 29-30.

“Other prominent agrarians in the region, Petr Stepanyuk and Mikhail Svischev, will also share their experience,” the press service for the Ministry of Agriculture of the Penza region told PenzaNews agency.
The event discussion will focus on crop growth technologies in the region, they clarified.
“The forum will open with an exhibition on the first floor of the agricultural academy, and divide into several sections further on. On the first day, agricultural producers of the Penza region will study the grain crop technologies with yield above 30 quintals per hectare, as well as below this level, and oil crop growth techniques,” the ministry said.
The second day will include studies of growing grain corn, potatoes, and food production for animal husbandry, the press service added.
“Penza agrarians will review cutting-edge production technologies, machines, case advice and recommendations on using seeds, learn from the successes of regional enterprises,” the Agriculture Ministry noted.
The first agricultural forum is expected to bring together over 250 participants, along with speakers from the Tula, Moscow, Saratov and Samara regions, and Belarus.
