Penza, 29 October 2015. PenzaNews. Over 100 representatives of federal authorities, development institutes, large-scale production companies and investment organizations have visited the Penza region exhibition during the first day of Open Innovations trade show in Moscow.

In particular, Nikolai Nikiforov, Minister of Communications and Information Technologies of Russia, paid great attention to display of the biomedical cluster with items made by producers of medical equipment.

The minister stressed the importance of developing such cutting-edge medical production facilities during the import replacement program.

During the presentation of the project by “Operator Elektronnovo Pravitelstva” (of the regional IT cluster), Nikolai Nikiforov praised the complex-oriented approach to provide information support for educational institutions, as demonstrated by the showcased project “Electronic School.”

The results shown by “Rameev” technopark that had been founded with the support of the Russian Communications Ministry are highly effective, as proven by newly-created cutting-edge production facilities and growing profits of the technopark’s organizations, the minister added.

In turn, Ivan Bortnik, supervision board chairman for the Fund of Assistance in Development to Small Innovative Enterprises in Scientific and Technical Field, who also visited the exhibition, had a discussionwith Denis Timerbaev, head of “NanoElectroLab” youth innovation center, on using the robotics kits developed and produced by the company to equip other youth innovation centers in Russia.

Among other visitors of the exhibition by Penza innovative companies were other leading members of the Fund, as well as deputies of the Russian Duma, representatives from Intel, and delegations of Mordovia, Tatarstan, the Ulyanovsk, Moscow and Tomsk regions.

As PenzaNews agency reported earlier, the Penza delegation for the trade show features twelve companies focused on development and production of cutting-edge technologies.
