Penza, 13 November 2015. PenzaNews. The FAS department of the Penza region has initiated a lawsuit against “TNS Energo Penza” and “MRSK Volga” on violating the federal Competition Protection Law.

According to information published on the department’s website, the case was opened on basis of a full halt of power supply on the object owned by an anonymous subject, which constitutes a violation of Russian legislation that harmed or could harm interests of third parties.

The subject that addressed the FAS is not named.

However, based on available information, the power supply was cut after the subject lost their status as an individual businessman, in spite of the subject continuing to pay for supplied power.

According to the statement published by the FAS, the law has no regulations that allow for cutting power supply to a person on the latter losing their individual businessman status.

The case will be reviewed on Wednesday, November 18.
