Penza, 24 November 2015. PenzaNews. Over 200,000 tons of sugar has been produced in the Penza region as of November 23, the press service of the regional Agriculture Ministry informed PenzaNews agency.

“In 2014, the Penza region has produced 145,000 tons of sugar by the same date,” they pointed out.

The sugar factories in the region have received a total of 1,370,000 tons of sugar beet for processing, the ministry added.
