Penza, 25 November 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza city head has evaluated the potential of “Car Transportation Enterprise” (CTE) during a personal visit to the municipal budgetary institution on Wednesday, November 25.

Recently, the City Duma session held in September reviewed the results of the institution’s financial audit undertaken by the Chamber of Control and Accounts that revealed numerous deficiencies and violations, such as ineffective use of municipal property, even though CTE receives over 20 million rubles annually as an upkeep for municipal car transport.

The city head has personally visited CTE to investigate the situation.

During his visit, Victor Kuvaytsev inspected the current state of property owned by the enterprise: currently, it is in a good condition, however, it is only less than 10% used for providing services to municipal enterprises.
The city head personally surveyed the enterprise and spoke to its staff members, accompanied by the head of the Penza city Transportation and Communications Department Igor Norkin, and the acting director of CTE Alexander Bubnov.

After the inspection, Igor Norkin and Alexander Bubnov supported Victor Kuvaytsev’s conclusion that the enterprise has a great potential and ability to profit and provide more funds for the city budget, if its potential is effectively realized, says the press service of the City Duma.
