Penza, 7 December 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza region prosecutor’s office has completed the work to form the regional segment of the overall audits for legal entities and individual businessmen in 2016.

“An interdepartmental business rights protection task force held a session in August, joined by responsible officials from supervisory authorities. They paid particular attention to changes in legislation in regards to barring small enterprises from planned audits in 2016-2018. As a result, the 42 supervisory bodies have submitted only 3,71 audit requests to the Penza region prosecutor’s office, which is nearly two times less than in 2014. After a further review, 873 audit requests, or 24% of the total number, were rejected. 300 of these were declined due to the fact that the subjects have been classified as small enterprises,” Yulia Makarova, Senior Assistant Attorney of the region in Media Relations, informed PenzaNews agency.

She also added that in order to reduce administrative pressure on the business, next year the supervisory authorities next year will hold 776 joint audits of business actors whenever their objectives intersect, instead of conducting their respective checks separately.
