Penza, 23 January 2016. PenzaNews. The increase in availability of goods produced in the Penza region in Lenta hypermarkets was one of the main subjects of the meeting between the governor Ivan Belozertsev and the company representatives held in the regional government hall on Friday, January 22.

In particular, they discussed the possibility to sell certain Penza goods outside the region using logistic capabilities of Lenta hypermarket chain.

In addition, Ivan Belozertsev asked the parties to cooperate in involving Penza region SMEs in hypermarket supply chains.

“The large brands working in the region are quite well represented on your shelves. We would also like to see you establishing cooperation with family-owned farms. This will be beneficial both for you and for our agrarians. The Penza region has experience in this kind of cooperation: let us develop it,” the governor said.

In turn, Roman Kakhikalo, regional director of Lenta, pointed out that the company sees the potential in developing business within the region.

He expressed readiness to increase the assortment of Penza goods in Lenta, says the press service of the Penza region government.
