Four Penza companies showcase products at international fair in Cologne, Germany

Penza, 1 February 2016. PenzaNews. The four enterprises of the Penza Confectionary Workers Union cluster are showcasing their products at ISM 2016 international confectionary trade fair held in Cologne exhibition center.

The four companies are “Russky Konditer,” Bekovsky RPK “Oktyabr,” and confectionary factories “Vanyushkiny Sladosti” and “Miroslada.”
The trade fair which opened on Sunday, January 31, and will work through February 3, is the main event in for the European sweet production field, the general director of the Center for Cluster Development Mikhail Lyashkov told PenzaNews agency.
“Every year, food producers gather in Cologne to exchange experience and watch the trends, while hundreds of contracts and shipment agreements into European countries are signed during the commercial section,” he said.
According to Ilya Issakov, chairman of the Penza Confectionary Workers Union cluster, the regional companies are taking part in the event with the aim to promote their products for European markets.
“Several Penza companies are already shipping sweets abroad. Today, we decided to join forces to promote goods for European markets and showcase our goods at the united cluster expo zone,” he explained.
In turn, Sergei Rychagov, general director of “Russky Konditer,” pointed out that the first two days already saw great attention from distributors, store chain representatives and trade agents from various European countries towards the expo zone of Penza companies.
“The production by the cluster attracts the visitors by unique shapes, original receipts, and natural ingredients,” he clarified.
According to Sergei Rychagov, the Penza companies stand shows that potential buyers can start work from scratch on a big assortment of goods – marshmallow, marmalade, chocolate sweets, and bakery, including difficult-to-make items.
“We expect this fair to bring us new business contacts and agreements to ship our goods to European consumers,”he stressed.
