Penza, 10 February 2016. PenzaNews. Georgy Kamnev, first secretary of the Regional Committee of the Communist Party, deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Penza region, will be taking part in the forum “Social And Economic Development of Russia. Problems and Ways of Solution” that will be he held in Orel this Friday, on February 12.

Reportedly, he will be presenting a report on improving the communal situation in Russia, with a particular focus on priority measures in communal affairs improvement that can be taken immediately.

“The liberals are holding their own forum – the Gaidar forum, while the people with Socialist beliefs will be gathering at the forum in Orel at the initiative of the CPRF and [the Communist Party leader] Gennady Andreevich Zyuganov, who also will be giving a speech there. We will provide answers to the most urgent issues and give our recommendations on developing industry, agriculture and other fields with application of Socialist methods,” Georgy Kamnev commented for PenzaNews agency.

He pointed out that the upcoming economic forum is an alternative to the one held in Moscow in mid-January.

“We want to say that our country can follow not only the Liberal way, but also the Socialist way: it is much more effective than what the Russian Government is currently offering. And it is offering, in fact, just a single thing – to privatize state property for a pile of spare change during the times of crisis. At the same time, we are offering a meaningful and positive development program,” stressed the leader of the Penza Communists.

The grand economic forum in Orel is expected to bring together nearly 1,000 guests, including members of federal and regional ministries and state bodies, deputies of various levels, representatives of big and small businesses, from fields of science, education and culture, and other invested parties.

Following its agenda, the event will be opening with a plenary meeting with Gennady Zyuganov, chairman of the CPRF Central Committee; and Vladimir Kashin, chairman of the State Duma committee on natural resources, natural resources management and ecology.

Moreover, the forum will feature several roundtable panel discussions: “Economic Model For Leading Country Out of Crisis,” “Ways of Rapid Recovery of Country’s Industrial Potential,” “Development of Villages and Food Security of Russia,” and “New Monetary And Credit Policy As Locomotive For Investment Development of Economy.”
