Penza, 15 February 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza region government must provide an all-round support to creating a zone of priority social and economic development in Zarechny, the governor Ivan Belozertsev ordered during the regional government meeting session on Monday, February 15.

A week ago, the head of Rosatom Sergei Kiriyenko visited the Penza region, he reminded.

“I had a lengthy meeting with him. You know, that as of 2015, the Penza region government together with the top management of Zarechny and the production union ‘Start’ is working on launching a priority social and economic development zone there. There is a working task force under the government, and we have submitted to Moscow the documents required for the launch,” explained the head of the region.

He instructed Nikolai Simonov, deputy chairman of the regional government, to ensure the project is maintained at all times.

In addition, the governor noted there are already potential resident companies that are ready to generate new jobs in the closed administrative-territorial union in return for financial preferences.

One of the research institutes plans to create 300 jobs for professionals in cutting-edge technologies, Ivan Belozertsev noted.

“It is a very modern enterprise,” he stressed.
