Penza, 12 March 2016. PenzaNews. Olga Fedoseeva, principal of the Institute of Regional Development, has headed the civil council under the Penza region Ministry of Economy.

The member list of the council includes 12 experts from universities, banks and businesses, as well as the regional Civic Chamber.

The main objectives for the council were outlined by the Economy Minister of the Penza region Sergei Kapralov during its first session on Friday, March 11.

“The civil council is an effective tool for involvement of civil community representatives and experts in the decision-making process on the most pressing issues in economy. This form of cooperation allows for open and fair-minded expression of opinions about the key areas of activity for the Ministry by the people that represent the general public,” he pointed out.

The civil council will meet every quarter, says the website of the regional Economy Ministry.
