Penza, 15 March 2016. PenzaNews. Fitch Ratings has affirmed the ratings of the Penza region.

The national long-term rating of the region is AA-(rus) with positive outlook. The long-term foreign and local currency Issuer Default Rating is at BB, with positive outlooks, while the short-term foreign currency IDR is at B, with positive outlook.

“The ratings reflect low credit risks and potential to quickly fulfill any financial obligations. A ‘positive’ outlook reflects the Fitch expectations that the region will remain at a positive current balance and moderate direct debt, its growth restrained through reduced budget deficit,” the press service of the Penza region Ministry of Economy informed PenzaNews.
