Penza governor proposes creating joint enterprises with Kazakhstan
Penza, 30 March 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza region governor Ivan Belozertsev has proposed to create new joint enterprises with partners from Kazakhstan.
“Even under the uneasy economic situation, we intend to grow and develop business ties, so the visit to Kazakhstan is very important for us,” he said during the meeting with Mikhail Bocharnikov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in Kazakhstan, that took place in Astana on Tuesday, March 29.
The Penza region is interested in promoting its production, the head of the region stressed.
“During this visit, we are demonstrating, among other things, the products by our military-industrial complex enterprises that are currently very much active. They have the engineering and technical capabilities to tackle practically any task,” Ivan Belozertsev noted.
Also, the governor informed Mikhail Bocharnikov about the progress with the website for promotion of Penza products to various audiences, including the English-speaking clientele.
In turn, Mikhail Bocharnikov pointed out that the Penza region government is following a correct strategy in their cooperation with Kazakhstan.
“I am pleased to be meeting with the Penza delegation. Just a remark: here in Kazakhstan, your region is distinguishable from other Russian regions by how active you are. You embody the new wave from our Motherland, the new perspective,” the press service of the regional government quotes the ambassador.
