Penza, 20 April 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza region industrial company StankoMashStroy has joined the Russian Engineering Union.

“StankoMashStroy joining the Russian Engineering Union is a very significant event, as working in an ensemble will help solve a number of critical issues for the enterprise and the industry overall, further the resurrection of the Russian machine tool industry and production of commercially viable products under the import replacement program,” says the message released by the company.

According to it, StankoMashStroy is taking an active part in the work of the Union, while the company’s general director Oleg Kochetkov is an assistant chairman of the Penza branch for the Russian Engineering Union.

The Russian Engineering Union is a countrywide non-governmental organization registered with the Federal Registration Service on 27 July 2007.

The Union aims to form the development strategy of the field and participate in shaping the positive state policy for support of national machine engineering complex to keep it up to the level of leading industrial countries.

The Union represents interests of around 3 million workers employed in a number of fields related to machine industry.
