Penza region lists priority industry fields under import replacement roadmap

Penza, 12 May 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza region government has approved the 2016-2020 regional import replacement roadmap with a decree signed by the governor Ivan Belozertsev.

The list of regional priorities in industry features production of consumer goods, pharmaceuticals and medical devices, chemicals, wood, oil and gas machinery, machine-tools and vehicles.
In agriculture, the region will be focusing on production of meat and milk, as well as meat and milk products; as well as potatoes, fruits and vegetables, and other products made from them.
The roadmap is expected to bring the region to reach an industrial export volume of $162.9 million by 2016, $168.8 million by 2017, $174.7 million by 2018, $178 million by 2019, and $181 million by 2020.
The plan involves participation of over 30 companies and enterprises based in the Penza region.
In consumer goods industry, these are “Askent,” “Pekof” and “Technotex”; in wood production, “Mayakprint”; in oil and gas machinery, “Sensor,” “PTPA” and “Penzkompressormash”; in machine-toold production, “StankoMashStroy” and “Gax-Armservis,” and in vehicle production, “GrAZ Factory.”
The pharmaceutical and medical devices industry in the plan is represented by “Biosintez” and “MedInzh,” while “Mayak-Technocell” represents the chemical industry.
Moreover, the agricultural enterprises featured in the plan are the milk production plant “Penzensky,” “Mega-Master,” “Cherkizovo-Svinovodstvo,” “Lomovskaya Ryba,” “PenzaMolInvest,” “Vasilyevskaya” poultry factory, “Kolyshleyskaya” poultry factory, Penza branch of the Cherkizovo Meat Processing Factory, “Broiler-Invest,” “Botanik Griby,” “Saad Plus,” D.V. Gribakov’s private farm, “Spasskye Sady,” “Razdolye” agricultural farm, “Penzasemkartofel,” V.V. Lunyashin’s private enterprise, “Bashkamovsky Khleb,” “Sady Pridonya,” “Penzensky Teplichny Kombinat,” and “Mokshansky” greenhouse complex.
