Over 300 visitors took interest in the display set by Penza companies during the expo.
In particular, they were visited by Mikhail Bocharnikov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in Kazakhstan, and Alexander Yakovlev, trade representative of Russia in Kazakhstan, who praised the high level of technologies and great potential of the Penza R&D.
“During the expo, Penza companies actively worked with business partners, discussed trends and key issues in the field, shared experience with their colleagues from abroad,” the general director of “Yumirs” Andrei Klyuev commented on the event.
According to him, KADEX 2016 allowed the companies to sign new end-user and distribution contacts, as well as reaffirm the current contacts and discuss expanding their partnerships even further during head-to-head meetings with partners.
In turn, Oleg Shapoval, chairman of the Penza instrumentation cluster, general director of “CeSIS NIKIRET,” pointed out that his enterprise held talks with over 10 prospective partners from such Kazakhstan cities as Aktau, Alma-Ata, Karaganda and Astana during the expo.
“Right now, the Alma-Ata international airport already installed four gate systems, and we are in talks of reinforcing them with additional security technologies and equipment produced by Penza enterprises,” he pointed out.
At the same time, Mikhail Torgashin, head of the Penza region Industry Ministry, pointed out that the participation of “Security” cluster in the event brought forth well-defined results – such as planned meetings between enterprises and representatives of end user companies from Kazakhstan by the end of 2016.
“Our Kazakhstan partners are interested in Penza-developed high-quality cutting-edge perimeter security systems and technologies. In particular, the awards given to the enterprises show that. For example, the Penza display received high praise in form of an expo participation medal and a diploma from Imangali Tasmagambetov, Kazakhstan Minister of Defense,” the minister stressed.
The cluster enterprises participated in the Kazakhstan expo on June 2-5, thanks to support from the Center of Cluster Development.
