Penza, 22 June 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza region governor Ivan Belozertsev and the general director of S7 Group Vladislav Filyaev discussed potential of bilateral partnership during their meeting at the Penza city airport on Wednesday, June 22.

“The Penza airport received significant funding. It now has a reconstrusted landing strip that is fully compliant to all modern requirements. We want our airport that has great potential to be in use as much as possible. In addition, we still nurture the idea to make it international,” noted the head of the region.

In turn, Vladislav Filyaev pointed out that Penza has excellent foundation and good professionals.

“We are greatly interested in the staffing potential of the Penza airport. Even though it is not designed to receive such aircraft as our liners, we will consider establishing airlines with smaller planes,” the S7 Group head stressed.

During the meeting, Ivan Belozertsev made a proposal to set up a smaller plane pilot education school and practical courses for flight schools at the local airport.

In addition, the parties discussed investments to the Penza Dedicated Superchargers Construction Bureau that will be produced by S7 Group. Reportedly, the enterprise will begin producing press-formed details for interior parts of planes in the nearest future.
