Penza, 13 July 2016. PenzaNews. A grant-in-aid of 500 million rubles will be allocated to the Penza region from the federal budget.

The distribution of funds in the amount of 20.9 billion rubles between 44 regions was approved by the RF Government decree, signed by the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

As stated in the explanatory note to the document, the grants are allocated to the constituent territories of the Russian Federation for the following purposes: 8.6 billion rubles – for ensuring balancing of regional budgets, 12.3 billion rubles – for partial compensation of extra expenses on raising salaries of public-sector workers.

The distribution of the grants was approved at the meeting of the tripartite commission on intergovernmental fiscal relations.

The document was considered and approved at the meeting of the Russian Federation Government on 7 July, 2016.
