Team of “Elegant” garment enterprise receives congratulations on 25th anniversary
Penza, 19 July 2016. PenzaNews. The solemn event, devoted to the 25th anniversary of the “Elegant” enterprise, which is a member of the consumer goods industry cluster of the Penza region, was held on Tuesday, July 19.

First, the honored guests, among whom there were the Penza region government deputy chairman Valery Bespalov, the Penza mayor Victor Kuvaytsev, the general director for the Center of Cluster Development Mikhail Lyashkov and other officials, were taken to a small tour over the enterprise.
During the tour, the head of the “Elegant” garment enterprise Olga Khamzina told the guests about main stages of the company’s formation, the conditions created for the employees, as well as about the technologies used and modernization of production.
The officials got a chance to get acquainted with stages of outerwear creating. In particular, Olga Khamzina explained how the process of computer designing of outline frames for future clothes goes, including phases of cutting and coat sewing.
Then, the event attendees visited a warehouse containing hundreds of finished products waiting to be shipped to shops.
Opening the solemn part, the Penza region government deputy chairman Valery Bespalov stressed that “Elegant” demonstrated effective work in different periods, including difficult economic conditions.
“We see it developing constantly. No wonder you got famous all over Russia,” he noted.
Valery Bespalov reminded that the TV spot, recently aired on NTV channel and devoted to the light industry of the Penza region, started with a story about the “Elegant” enterprise.
“We are very grateful to you for your work, the products quality is splendid. I wish you prosperity and ask your management to raise your salary in the first place,” the Penza region government deputy chairman said.
Then, he handed the governor’s certificate of honor to Olga Khamzina. Also, other employees of the enterprise were marked, among whom there are seamstresses, storekeepers and cutters.
As the news agency PenzaNews reported earlier, creation of the Penza region consumer goods industry cluster, the need for which had been brewing for several years, entered into an active phase in 2016. It united a group of interacting and competing enterprises, manufacturing clothes, shoes, leather accessories, suppliers of raw materials, components and specialized services, as well as educational institutions and other structures associated with this field.
The Center of Cluster Development coordinates the work on the cluster creation.
The governor Ivan Belozertsev earlier expressed the willingness to give full support to further development of the consumer goods industry cluster, including by assisting in the transfer of production facilities to entrepreneurs, creating conditions for staff training and products promotion.
