Penza, 15 September 2016. PenzaNews. Deputy Chairman of the Penza region government Valery Bespalov hopes the project, involving the production of aircraft parts in the region will be implemented in collaboration with the S7 Group.

“We have a company “Special Design Turbochargers Bureau” which was once in a holding with a diesel plant. Now this company is owned by the S7, and, accordingly, the aviation topic arises,” he said during a press conference on the “Army 2016” forum results, which took place in the government of the Penza region on Thursday, September 15.

“S7 is quite an interesting company. Its leader [Vladislav] Filev, vaguely reminiscent of Elon Musk [Canadian-American engineer, entrepreneur, inventor, investor]. He is now engaged in developing of his own aircrafts. And perhaps some “piece” of this production will fall in Penza, but that is a prospect of the future. I would not want to jinx it, but would really like to hope so,” Valery Bespalov said.

As “PenzaNewsd” reported earlier, on June 22, 2016 Governor Ivan Belozertsev and General Director of S7 Group Vladislav Filev. Among other things they discussed the issue of investment in the development of “Special Design Turbochargers Bureau” JSC and plans to release molds for aircraft interior trim parts in Penza.
