Penza, 15 September 2016. PenzaNews. Commercial Director of “LMZ MashStal” LLC Dmitry Koshevarov aired the initiative to resume the regional program of subsidizing the participation of industrial enterprises in exhibitions.

“There used to be such program — the government helped a little on the lease of [exhibition] space. I wanted to ask to resume this, probably,” he said during a press conference on summing up the “Army 2016” results, which took place in the government of the Penza region on Thursday, September 15.

Valeri Bespalov, Deputy Chairman of the regional government, recommended to discuss this issue at the regional association of industrialists, and then prepare a formal letter to Governor Ivan Belozertsev.

“We will find a solution, I believe. We just need to understand the amount, we must consider this money in the budget, and secondly, think the mechanism through,” he said.

Valeri Bespalov reminded that earlier, 50% of the exhibition space rental costs was compensated in the form of subsidies, and the beneficiaries were chosen upon competition after the event.

“Good practice. I think we will discuss it in the government,” he said.
