Penza, 30 September 2016. PenzaNews. Project of Zarechny, the Penza region “My house, my yard” took second place in the “Creating comfortable living conditions” nomination according to the results of All-Russian competition for the best practices and initiatives of social and economic development among region of the Russian Federation named after M. Saltykov-Shchedrin, the winners of which were awarded during the international investment forum in Sochi on Friday evening, September 30.

The first place in this category was awarded to the project of Bashkortostan “Fire detector to every house and every apartment.”

Total in 2016, the competition organized by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, received 302 applications: 99 — in the category “Social and economic policy,” 89 — “Human capital development,” 36 — “Creating comfortable living conditions,” 22 — “Public involvement in key decision making,” 29 — “Effective budgeting” and 27 — “Quality of public and municipal services.”
