Penza, 13 October 2016. PenzaNews. Personnel deficiency is one of key problems preventing the development of the light industry in the Penza region. Such opinion was expressed by the deputy director general on technical matters of LLC “Kuznetsk clothes plus” Maria Piunova.

“The light industry suffers personnel deficiency now. We have everything – we have fabric, we have equipment, we have the desire, we have experts, but there are not enough hands” she said during the roundtable meeting devoted to the development of “Legprom” cluster, which took place in the government of the Penza region on Thursday, October 13.

Maria Piunova expresses confidence that the association of sewing enterprises of the region will help to cope with a lot of issues, including this one, for accomplishing common tasks.

“Firstly, we expect tremendous help from participating in different programs that would give us a possibility of financial assistance. Secondly, from promoting our brands and participating in exhibitions. We are just starting developing our brand, nobody knows us yet. If the regional catalogue [of sewing enterprises’ products] is released, it will give us a push, more people will learn about us,” she emphasized.
