Expert: Russian economy is distinguished by a large number of punishments and prohibitions

This opinion was expressed by the Doctor of Science, the leading economist of “Stolypin Club” Yakov Mirkin during the lecture within the framework of the forum “Business Development” in Penza on Wednesday, October 26.

“Since the publication of the Criminal Code of Russia, its volume has increased by 2.3 times, the Code of Administrative Offences – by 2.7 times,” he said.
Yakov Mirkin said that the State Duma of the Russian Federation of the previous convocation, at last count, adopted more than 2 thousand laws.
“For the last 15 years, the number of laws it adopted increased by 3 times, with 80% of them starting with “on amendments being made,” he expert noted.
