Penza makes breakthrough in improvement of investment climate by topping regional rating

Penza, 31 October 2016. PenzaNews. Penza topped the rating of city and municipal areas of the Penza region on the improvement of the investment climate for the third quarter of 2016, scoring 175 points.

Previously – in the second quarter – the municipality was on the ninth place with 71.5 points.
Significant growth was shown by the Shemysheysky area, which rose from the 10th to the second place. In the previous rating it got only 67 points but this time the number reached 158.5 points.
The Bessonovsky area, which according to the results of the second quarter was in advance of other municipalities, occupies third place. Despite the fact that the area sank into two positions down, its result is better – 155.5 points against previous 140.5
The Issinksy, Vadinsky and Spassky areas turned to be outsiders.
“Rating is a single system score of what has been done for the quarter, how the situation changed in the municipalities compared with the previous period. The rating organization gives the heads of administrations a good stimulus for the competition development in the field of improving the business climate,” the Minister of Economy of the Penza region Sergei Kapralov commented.
The rating of the Penza region city and municipal areas’ administrations activities of improving the investment climate is compiled quarterly in three key areas – “Investment activity,” “Efficiency of work on investment climate improving,” “Efficiency of work on small business support.”
