Penza, 22 November 2016. PenzaNews. More than 170,000 tons of sugar were produced in the Penza region. This was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture.

“Sugar factories received 1.5 million tons of sugar beet from agricultural producers. This index is higher than the index of the last year,” the office noted.

The Ministry added that there are three sugar factories in the Penza region: LLC “Atmis-sakhar”, CJSC “Bekovsky Sugar Factory” and LLC “Zemetchinsky Sugar Factory”
