Since the beginning of the year, 324,796 square metres of housing were brought into operation, including 241,391 square metres of apartment housing and 83,405 square metres of individual housing.
“Soon, we will sum up the results of the present year, but some houses will be delivered in December according to the plan. We must understand, how things stand now,” the Penza mayor Victor Kuvaytsev said to the directors of the construction firms.
During the discussion, it was discovered that due to economic reasons some companies will fail to deliver houses by the end of the year. Because of that, they asked to postpone putting the houses into operation to the 2017 year.
“You are speaking now about postponement, but how can we know that you will not miss deadlines again? Those who will finish works in December should prepare a step-by-step plan of works for each day, so that we can observe the dynamics of the process. And those who postpone the works conclusion to the 2017 year should develop and submit the works performance schedule with the indication of the activity type and the number of workers calculated for the period of the additionally provided time,” the head of the city administration noted.
In her turn, the vice-mayor Irina Shirshina emphasized that even though some companies fail to deliver houses by the stated time, the plan of putting houses into operation will be implemented.
According to her, the plan realization will be achieved by the substitution of the apartment housing with the individual housing, the mayor’s office press service informs.
