Penza, 12 January 2017. PenzaNews. Arun Kumar Rajput was elected the chairman of the board of directors of the JSC “Biosintez” located in Penza.

The corresponding decision was taken at the board meeting that was held on Monday, January 9, and featured Arvind Abrol, Arun Kumar Rajput and Alexander Voloshinov.

Other members of the board of directors – Arvind Kumar and Vivek Mittal – were not present at the meeting.

According to the results of the voting, all three votes were given to the proposed candidate.

It is known that the board of directors used to consist of the general director of the JSC “Biosintez” Dmitry Boldov, Marina Revina, Vladimir Kolesnikov, Sergei Lapin, Grigory Levitsky, Elena Loven, and Alexander Krikun.

The authority of the previous board of directors was stopped at the extraordinary meeting that was held on December 23, 2016. The new board of directors was elected.

The JSC “Biosintez” is one of the oldest enterprises of the pharmaceutical industry, which was created in Penza more than 60 years ago.

The product portfolio contains 180 types of medicine with the official income of 45 million dollars. 

In December 2016 “Biosintez” entered the group of “Sun Pharma” companies.
