Penza, 22 January 2017. PenzaNews. The Penza region received 3,814 points in the national rating of procurement transparency for the year 2016, which allowed it to enter the third group of five possible ones – with the medium rate – in the category "State customers of the regional level".

Moscow received the best result – 5,348 points – occupying the first position in the group "Guaranteed transparency". Tatarstan occupies the second position (5,318 points), the Tambov region – the third one (4,993). In addition, the group includes Khabarovsk Krai, Bashkotorstan, the Samara and Arkhangelsk regions, as well as the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

The group "High level of transparency" includes 18 constituent entities. Among them are Mordovia, the Smolensk, Saratov, Bryansk and Vladimir regions.

The group "Medium level of transparency", which includes the Penza region, united 30 region. Among them are Saint Petersburg, the Ulyanovsk, Orenburg and Moscow regions, Stavropol Krai, Ingushetia and Dagestan. At the same time, in 2015, the Penza region had worse position, it was placed to the lower category.

The group "Basic level of transparency" includes 18 constituent entities. Among them are the Leningrad, Nizhnegorsk, Kirov, Novosibirsk and Oryol regions.

Nine regions demonstrated the worst result, they were included in the category "Low level of transparency". These are Karelia, the Irkutsk, Amur, Kostroma regions, the Chukotka autonomous region, Zabaikalskiy Krai, Kalmykia, Karachaevo-Cherkesia and the Belgorod region, which has the minimum number of points – 1,967.
